The construction team organizes a surprise pizza party for the Castaic school

Live Oak Elementary School was undergoing extensive construction on campus and to show their appreciation for the school’s cooperation during construction, the Independent Building Inspector surprised students and staff with pizzas for the whole school.

Friday, Bill Jameson of Independent Construction Inspection along with Shawn & Alisha Fonder and Amin Salari of Fonder-Salari, Inc. provided the Ameci pizza for the entire school.

“We so appreciate Fonder and Salari’s partners in this building project, for them to be so kind that they provide pizza to all the kids, it’s amazing,” said Steve Doyle, school district superintendent. of Castaic Union. “It’s been a bit difficult for the children, parents and staff, but it’s going to be beautiful, the redesign of the school’s facade and the upgrading of all the classrooms.”

Renovations at Live Oak Elementary have continued over the past eight months as the construction team completed modernizations and upgrades to the campus.

“It was not easy for them [students and staff] because we basically tore the school down and put it back together,” Bill Jameson said. “And so we just thought it was a good way to give back to the community and show our appreciation because they hired us to do this and we’re local.”

Staff and students enjoyed the surprise pizza party on the newly renovated and completed elementary school campus.
